Spike’s sight words is one of the most recent projects we have been involved in. The project is focused on enabling small children to grasp the English language at a young age by using board games as a means to teach. The entire business has been set up as an ecommerce website which is designed to provide the best user experience. The website has been designed using WordPress and its many features. We used Woo commerce to set up the products and purchasing options. We also added extra features like Wishlist, product inventory management, shipping calculators, and secure payment gateway integrations.
Customizations were made to the cart in order to enable customer checkout when they satisfy a certain condition. The client wanted to sell board games in a pack which would include exactly three individual boards. To solve this problem we added a conditional check-out on the side cart and cart page which would remove the checkout option until the customer bought individual boards in multiples of three. We also provided the client with a simple CMS and also provided training in order to add/remove content, products, change pricing, add discount coupons, etc.
