In fact, it often makes them focus more on land, where they might make more mistakes in response to your aggression.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<h3><b>Villagers &gt; Fishing Boats:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Why? Fishing boats are less efficient over time and, more importantly, they are much easier to eliminate.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The longer your extra fishing ships before dying will work the more resources they will bring<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any fishing ship collecting more than 75 food is worth it (as it costed 75 resources to make)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The primary objective is to achieve an economic advantage. To do this effectively, it\u2019s essential to balance both land and water, while prioritizing land economy as the foundation of your strategy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><b>How to Play Hybrid Maps?<\/b><\/h2>\n<h3><b>Connected Water:<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<h3><b>Close on Land, Far on Water:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Play aggressively on land while being defensive on water. This means you don\u2019t need to invest fully in water, so fire ships are more effective than galleys in this case.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A strong strategy is to go for a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hybrid maa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> rush, creating chaos and forcing your opponent to adapt, disrupting their build order and taking them out of their comfort zone.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<h3><b>Far on Land, Close on Water:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Play defensively on land while being aggressive on water with<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/webgurudesign.com\/sitaux\/galley-and-fire-rush\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> galleys or fire ships rush<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Galleys excel in choke points, while fire ships dominate open water.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aim to eliminate the fishing boats early (or force your opponent to over-invest in water), then transition to securing land with an economic advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<h3><b>Mixed Distances:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Focus mainly on land, as land &gt; water.
